ROHS & REACH STATEMENT

RoHS3 Compliance – Directive 2011/65/EU & 2015/863/EU

APW Company products are manufactured in accordance with the RoHS3 Directive, which restricts the use of specific hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. Compliance is based on supplier material declarations, documentation, and industry-standard controls.
APW does not independently test materials; instead, we rely on supporting compliance data provided by our upstream suppliers. Certificates can be provided for individual items upon request.
RoHS3 restricts the following substances to the maximum concentration values shown below, measured in homogeneous materials:
  • Cadmium (Cd): 0.01%
  • Mercury (Hg): 0.1%
  • Lead (Pb): 0.1%
  • Hexavalent Chromium (Cr⁶⁺): 0.1%
  • Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB): 0.1%
  • Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE): 0.1%
  • Bis(2‑Ethylhexyl) Phthalate (DEHP): 0.1%
  • Benzyl Butyl Phthalate (BBP): 0.1%
  • Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP): 0.1%
  • Diisobutyl Phthalate (DIBP): 0.1%

REACH Compliance – Regulation EC 1907/2006

Under REACH, APW Company is classified as a supplier of articles. APW does not manufacture or supply substances or preparations, and our products do not intentionally release chemicals during normal use.
APW continuously monitors updates published by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), including the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs). Based on information provided by our approved suppliers:
  • APW products are not known to contain SVHCs above the 0.1% w/w threshold.
  • Material declarations are reviewed as part of our ongoing compliance process.
  • Customers will be notified if future regulatory updates identify any SVHC above applicable limits in supplied products.
For the most current SVHC list, customers may refer directly to the ECHA website.

California Proposition 65 – General Statement

California Proposition 65 requires warnings for products that may expose individuals to chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
APW Company does not intentionally add Proposition 65‑listed chemicals to its products. However, because many globally sourced industrial materials and electronic components may contain trace levels of regulated substances—and because Proposition 65 applies broadly regardless of actual exposure—APW includes a standard Proposition 65 warning label on all product packaging.
This precautionary approach ensures compliance and avoids ambiguity.
Any listed chemicals—if present at all—are incidental and typically far below exposure levels associated with meaningful risk.
